A Spot Of Fishing

Thursday Story Strip Day.

Some sources say A. C. Hollingsworth worked on George Shedd's Marlin Keel, but frankly I don't see it. I do know there is a Sunday page he did, but as far as I know that could just as well have been a try-out page.

Hi Ger.

I'm pretty sure that A.C. Hollingsworth drew Marlin Keel. That was most likely for a very brief period between August and November, 1954. Previously he had drawn the Scorchy Smith dailies and Sundays for a year. Bob Bolling assisted and ghosted for George Shedd on Marlin Keel in 1953-54.

Best,
Alberto
